Just been out and one plant had a slug chomping away, while another had been chomped and is now no-more. So that’s three sunflowers lost now, which is a bit sad.
Tomorrow then, war commences!

It just so happened that today we got some slug gravel stuff in order to protect the sunflowers that we planted outside at the weekend…. and when I went to put the gravel around I noticed the slugs/snails had already been. One of Jack’s sunflowers has been eaten through the stem, and one of Toms has been nibbled but will survive. So now, have added a whole lot of gravel around them and hopefully that will sort it. I might just plant one or two more pots “just in case”.
We hate slugs!
